Zak is currently a Sophomore at Columbus North High School, in Columbus, Indiana. His passion is racing. Zak currently Races a Crate Late Model and hopes to someday soon be driving a Super Late Model and competing at a National level. His long time goal is to one day race NASCAR.
2004: Won Infinity Motorsports Indoor Kart Champion in Indianapolis, Indiana. Columbus Kart Club Champion and Rookie of the year in Columbus, Indiana.
2005: Southern Indiana Racing Association Kart Champion, USAC Rumble in the Dome Indoor Kart Champion in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio, National Indoor Kart Champion in Tunica, Mississippi.
2006: World Karting Association Grand National Champion in Jamaica, Iowa, National Indoor King of Concrete Kart Champion in North Carolina, USAC Rumble in the Dome Indoor Kart Champion in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio.
2007: World Karting Association Hartland Speedway Pavement Series Champion in Iowa, Kansas and Illinois. 5 top 10 starts in the Crate Late Model at Twin Cities Raceway Park in Vernon, Indiana
2008: Had 18 starts at Brownstown Speedway and Twin cities Raceway Park, 11 top 3 finishes and 2 wins, Won track champion at Twin cities Raceway Park, Finished 5th in points at Brownstown Speedway, Finished 3rd in Indiana Late Model Series points.
2009: Had 20 starts at 8 different tracks , 15 top 5 finishes and 3 wins, Finished 3rd in Indiana Late Model Series points. Youngest driver ever to run in the Jackson 100 finishing 15th at age 15 with a Crate engine.
